- Faucet Body: Up to 10 years
- Cartridge & Flow Systems: Up to 3 years
- External Finishes (e.g., matte, brushed): Typically, 2 years.

No. The warranty is valid only for residential use. Commercial, industrial, or institutional usage is excluded.
4. Does Aquel provide a lifetime warranty on any of its products?
No, Aquel does not offer a lifetime warranty. The warranty terms are limited by product category and usage type. Please refer warranty card being supplied with the product.
5. Are finish coatings like chrome, gold, or matte black covered under warranty?
Yes, finishes are covered, but only for a limited time (usually up to 2 years) and only if cleaned and maintained according to the care instructions. Damage from chemicals or improper & inadequate cleaning voids this.

7. Is a physical copy of the purchase invoice required for warranty claims?
Yes, a valid Tax invoice or bill copy is mandatory to claim warranty services
8. Can I claim warranty without the original bill or proof of purchase?

No. Installation errors, including the use of non-standard fittings or forceful installation, void the warranty.
11. What happens if I use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on the fittings?
Using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners (e.g., bleach, acid, or metal scrubbers) voids the warranty, especially for premium finishes.
12. Will the warranty still apply if the product is repaired or modified by someone other than an authorised technician?
No. Any repairs, dismantling, or modifications by unauthorised personnel invalidate the warranty.
13. Are rubber parts, washers, or O-rings covered under warranty?
No. These are considered wear-and-tear components and are not covered. Battery/ fragile items like glass also not covered under warranty.
14. Is damage caused by hard water or scaling covered under the warranty?
No. While Aquel products resist scaling better than average, damage from hard water deposits is not covered.
15. Does the warranty cover normal wear and tear?
No. Routine wear and tear, finish dulling due to time/use, and accidental damage are not included.
16. What if the product malfunctions due to fluctuating/ excess/ low water pressure or poor plumbing?
Such issues are considered external factors and not covered under warranty.

17. Do I need a certified plumber to install Aquel products for the warranty to remain valid?
Yes. It is recommended to use a trained and certified plumber. Faulty installation voids the warranty.
18. What care and maintenance routine should I follow to keep the warranty intact?
Clean weekly using a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid bleach, acids, or metal scrubbers. Do not leave stagnant water on surfaces for extended periods.
19. How often should I clean aerators and cartridge valves in Aquel faucets?
Every 4–6 weeks, especially in areas with hard water. This prevents blockages and maintains consistent flow.
20. Are there specific cleaning agents recommended by Aquel to avoid voiding the warranty?
Yes. Use pH-neutral soaps only. Avoid alcohol-based, chlorine-based, or acidic cleaners.
